01
CSUN Armenian Heritage Week
Armenian Heritage Week is an annual, week-long event held at CSUN, dedicated to celebrating Armenian culture and raising awareness about the historical struggles faced by Armenia. As one of the founding members of this now three-year-old initiative, I played a pivotal role in coordinating a four-day celebration in collaboration with four prominent Armenian organizations on campus. Our collective efforts not only brought the community together but also raised over $3,000 to provide scholarships for underprivileged students in Armenia, helping to support their educational aspirations.

GNAZ Ironman Games
Ironman Games is a major event held annually in Fresno, CA, by the Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship, where youth from approximately eight churches across the East and West Coasts gather to compete in a spirited sports competition. As the leader for Glendale Armenian Church of the Nazarene, I took on the responsibility of coordinating a group of 30+ individuals, ensuring seamless logistics for the event. This included organizing hotel accommodations, transportation, and providing custom gear for both players and spectators, ensuring everyone had a memorable and well-prepared experience.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long program of activities and fellowship for children aged 5–12. As the main coordinator at Glendale Armenian Church of the Nazarene, I managed decorations to match the theme, prepared supplies for five activity stations, coordinated the curriculum, and organized a group of 20 children throughout the week. This role strengthened my leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills while creating a memorable experience for the children.

Fall Harvest Raffle
In 2023, following the displacement of Armenian families due to the conflict in Artsakh, I led a fundraising raffle as President of the CSUN Hidden Road Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to assisting students in remote Armenian villages. The raffle aimed to support displaced families by providing them with the resources to find new homes.
I organized the event, collaborating with 10 local Armenian-owned businesses who donated raffle items. The tickets were sold for $10 each, and all proceeds went directly to families in need. The raffle raised approximately $700, which helped three families secure housing during their time of crisis.
